Provided with a complimentary facsimile wrapper. A collection of short mysteries notable for the first book appearance of the story Philomel Cottage which was turned into a highly successful play, two feature films and was also televised twice in the UK. Interestingly, the story The Rajah's Emerald, page 211, features a young detective named James Bond! From the collection of Ian Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert (pencil ownership within).
