Bound in deep red/burgundy cloth hardcovers, titled in silver to the spine, with typographic jacket design. This copy follows/reproduces the first New American Library edition. Cheap paper a little toned as usual, fragile jacket has a chip to rear panel, some edge wear. These pirate editions from Taiwan rarely survive and are now extremely difficult to acquire. A Fleming curiosity, from the Ian Fleming Bibliographical Archive assembled by Jon Gilbert (pencil signature and notes within). His comprehensive guide to the works of Fleming (2012) won the 16th Breslauer Prize for bibliography. Item #76069
