Publisher's dark grey paper-covered boards, with white titles to spine and upper, an illustration laid-down to upper, and endpapers matching Quinby plate X. Small purple ink bookseller's stamp to front pastedown. Some spotting to edges, otherwise internally clean. Binding shows moderate general wear, with some scratches to the illustration on the upper board. Good. An enchanting, landmark children's book, first published in 1902. Item #75873
