Ten Little N... [And Then There Were None].

London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1939. [Mystery] FIRST EDITION, first impression, dated '1939' on copyright page as called for. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp. 252; [2]; advertisements for Hercule Poirot's Christmas and Appointment with Death. Publishers' orange cloth with black titles to backstrip. Contents clean and fresh, no ink names, lacks rear free endpaper, cloth with some light marks, a few small splashes to upper, spine gently sunned. This is Agatha Christie's biggest seller with 100 million sales to date, making it the world's most popular mystery, and one of the best-selling books of all time. Published as And Then There Were None in the US in 1940 and later in the UK as Ten Little Indians due to the obviously problematic original title. Item #75654
