— Franz Kafka
London: Smith, Elder, and Co., 1926. [Classic English literature] FINELY BOUND Haworth Edition. Complete in seven volumes. Octavo (21 x 14 x 19cm). With numerous portraits and illustrations, engraved and photogravures. A superb set in fine near-contemporary red three quarter morocco for Hatchards of Piccadilly (likely bound by Morrell) with delicate gilt decoration to spines, matching red buckram-covered sides, pale blue endpapers, hand-sewn endbands, and top edges gilt.
