A double-sided black and white photographic plate as every other leaf, with captions facing, and a green sketch-map. Publisher's oatmeal cloth with green titles to spine and upper, photographic dust-wrapper with pink title panel and spine. Contents clean, no inscriptions, minor scruff to corner of endpaper, price clipped jacket is well preserved, with rich colour, one chip at foot of spine, a few edge tears and some creasing. Shows well. Detailing Stark's 1934 expedition from Aden into the the Hadhramaut, following 'The Southern Gates of Arabia' (1936). Item #75293
