Handsomely bound in half dark blue calf with twin brown morocco title labels lettered in gilt, five raised bands, gilt rules, matching blue cloth-covered sides, sewn endbands, and top edges gilt. Contents clean but for some light expected foxing, exteriors unmarked. A scarce set, in an attractive recent leather binding. The author's most prominent and influential literary work, now difficult to find in the first English translation. Item #74831
