Jacket has some chips and tears, the spine is not faded. Shows well. A classic Marlowe case, this novel was winner of the 1954 Mystery Writers of America award. A pioneer of the 'Hard-boiled' thriller, Chandler was later a champion of Ian Fleming's novels and the two authors became friends.
