Ads present, including two colour inserts. Preliminary ads on cheaper newsprint paper are toned, final two leaves of ads chipped at lower corner, text leaves clean and fresh, covers lightly worn, spine slightly chipped at ends. "On the Flank of the Army" is a fictionalised account inspired by the author's daring escape during the Boer War. It is considered the third and virtually last work of fiction penned by Winston Churchill. Item #74204
