Small octavo (12 x 8 x 22cm), pp.lxxii; 68; 68; 84; 76; 82 [2]; pp.[6] 78; 64; 80; 78; [2] 80; 86 [2]; pp.[6] 80; 92; 56; 72; 78; [2] 80 [2]; pp.[6] 88; 96; 96; 80; 96 [2]; pp.[6] 88; 108; 96; 104; 72 [2]; pp.[2] 108; 76; 104; 104; 75 [1]; pp.[6] 72; 104; 88; 116; 100 [24]. With frequent in-text woodcuts, and a frontispiece to volume I, as well as a glossary at the rear of the final volume. Contemporary black half morocco, with gilt titles to spines, and plain pasteboards. All edges marbled. Black ink ownership to endpapers of each volume. Toned to edges and endpapers, otherwise internally clean. Final volume, which contains King Lear, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and Othello, more thumbed than the others; one leaf in the glossary coming loose. Moderate general wear to bindings; spines gently re-coloured. Very good. Item #73768
