With the green typographic dust-jacket, priced at 7/6. Green ink ownership to verso of fly-leaf, otherwise internally clean, with some toning to cloth spine, and some oxidation to the gilt. Jacket faded, with heavier toning to spine, and some chipping to head, tail, and corners. Very good. 'Three Guineas' is a book-length essay in three parts, composed of Woolf's responses to a series of letters; the question and answer format creates a sense of dialogue and debate on the politically charged issues the essay tackles, such as war, and position of women in employment.
