The scarce first appearance of this Hercule Poirot mystery with exclusive illustrations. One of only a handful of Christie stories published in The Strand during the 'thirties and 'forties, all of which are now highly sought after. Also one of just two issues with a cover illustration of Poirot. The story was later collected in book-form within 'The Regatta Mystery and other Stories' (USA, 1939), under the amended title 'Problem at Sea'. Item #72595
