With the dust-jacket designed by George Woodman, priced at 8/6 to front flap. Contents clean, no inscriptions, small bump at top corner, jacket is clean and bright with a little rubbing at joints and a couple of neat tape strips at extremities. Very good. Technically the FIRST UK EDITION, more precisely the first British printing of this great novel; the earlier Chatto & Windus edition used the American sheets and was thus the first edition, UK issue.
