Printed on heavyweight GardaMatt and GardaPat Art paper. Quarter bound in cherry red leather, matching Clapton's famous Gibson ES-335. The silhouettes of some of his most iconic guitars are blocked in gold and silver foils onto the cover. Housed in a handmade slipcase featuring silkscreen printed artwork and leather accents, in a printed felt-drawstring bag. A fine copy in fine slipcase (felt bag is a little dusty). Original card synopsis and flyer tucked in. Beginning with his blues roots and early days, Clapton's signed limited edition chronicles his entire career through the tools of his trade: his guitars. Six-String Stories is told through Clapton's own words, with background information for each instrument and archival photography spanning five decades. This is Genesis Publications' third Eric Clapton title, following 24 Nights and Made In Japan, all of which are fully subscribed. The regular commercial hardback did not appear until 2021.
