Nonpareil marbled paper over boards, raised bands to spine. Errata to pp.116. Light internal toning, a moderate amount of soiling/splashing and spotting throughout. Some minor woodworming, most notably from pp.19-44. Marbled boards heavily rubbed, some sparse ink blots to lower. Binding solid and stable. Very good. "The first fully annotated and comprehensive modern-spelling edition of King Henry VIII." With the plates in their earliest state, signed by Nathaniel Parr as opposed to later versions. Item #70617
