A Miss Marple mystery, set in the sleepy village of St. Mary Mead, which seems throughout the years to have been the venue of more carnage than Cheapside during the Black Death. Basis for the all-star movie with Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, Tony Curtis, Angela Lansbury, Kim Novak, Edward Fox, and in a very early uncredited role, Pierce Brosnan. This novel was dedicated to Margaret Rutherford, who was the first actress to bring Miss Marple to life on the big screen. Item #70346
