Each with a green sketch-map and numerous black and white photographic plates. Publisher's green cloth with gilt titles to spine, and gilt facsimile signature to upper. Fore and lower edges untrimmed. Each with the original dust-jacket (red, blue, green and yellow respectively), priced at 18s and 25s. Contents clean, discreet owner name to 'Incense', jackets are bright and fresh showing minor wear to extremities. A fine set. Alongside Gertrude Bell, Stark remains one of the best known female travellers in the Middle East, becoming one of the first westerners to cross the southern Arabian Desert. Item #70185
