A posthumous publication bringing together two texts by Fermor; the first being the third and final part of his walk to Constantinople (never finished), and the second being his journey to Mount Athos (his only surviving diary). Leigh Fermor worked on these texts right up until the last few weeks before his death in June 2011, and they were edited by Thubron and Cooper to string them into a coherent narrative.
