Contemporary speckled full calf, black gilt-lettered label and raised bands to spine. All edges speckled red. Internally bright and clean but for a few marks and some expected offsetting. Minor woodworming from front pastedown to pp.iii. Small ownership inscription to corner of flyleaf. Front hinge split but stable. Top edge toned. Binding clean but for some chipping to boards, especially upper. Rubbing and subtle splitting to joints. Gentle edgewear. Very good. The collected works of poet and physician Mark Akenside, including the well-regarded long poem 'The Pleasures of the Imagination.'. Item #69634
