Publisher's grey pasteboards, with plain printed paper title labels to spines. All edges untrimmed. Internally clean, with a late nineteenth-century black ink ownership of George Whigham to fly-leaf of each volume. Heavy wear, especially to spines, with large losses to heads and tails of spines, and the label of volume I. All joints tender, with one board completely loose and others about to go. Good.
