Light spotting to flyleaf, light spotting and toning to edges of textblock, wearing to cloth, rolling to spine and corners, wearing to top and bottom edges of jacket with chipping at spine this has been repaired with two pieces of archival tape. Very good. The novel tells the story of Lucian Taylor, beginning with a recollection of his childhood in rural Wales and following him to London where he endures poverty as he attempts to become a writer. The novel was originally published in 1907; a later edition was produced in 1954, and this book is a reprint of the 1954 edition which was published in 1968. Item #67820
