Publisher's red cloth, with black titles to spine and upper, and yellow pictorial endpapers. With original dust-jacket illustrated in colour by Soper. A little light spotting to edges and endpapers. Price-clipped jacket quite heavily rubbed to edges and upper flap joint, with several sizeable chips, losses to head and tail of spine, and a tip-ex splash also to spine. A clean, bright example generally. Very good. The eighth book in the 'Famous Five' series, in which the four children and their dog encounter a mystery at Owl's Dene while when they embark on a cycling holiday. Item #61948
