Amsterdam: Laurens a.daane N.V., 1970. [Art/Erotica] The famous Bag One portfolio, Dutch issue, in printed card folder. Originally conceived as a wedding gift from John Lennon to Yoko Ono. The portfolio comprises title page, the Alphabet Poem, six portrait prints in black, and seven erotic prints in sepia tone, with printed signatures of Lennon. Each sheet measure 51 x 37 cm. Contents fine. Minor wear to extremities of folder and inner tray. A superior example. The English issue (300 copies only) was exhibited in the London Art Gallery at 22 New Bond Street on 15th January 1970 for two weeks but was raided by Police on the second day and 8 of 14 items displayed were confiscated on the grounds of obscenity.
