All edges orange, with glossy red endpapers. Presented in the original black slipcase. Light toning to paper, and some light handling to slipcase. Near fine. A sequel to 'The Forge of God' (1987), in which the Earth was destroyed by self-replicating spacefaring machines. Item #60887
