One volume in publisher's dark green cloth blocked in gilt, the other in a lighter green cloth blocked in silver-gilt to the spine. Fine copies in near fine jackets (one is sunned to top edge and spine). As far we can tell, this represents the standard cloth and an unrecorded variant of the publisher's binding. Graham Greene retraces the experiences and encounters of his long and extraordinary life. His restlessness is legendary, he has travelled like an explorer seeking out people and political situations at the dangerous edge of things.
