Cond | with all good wishes | from Elleston Trevor | September 1950.' Publisher's blue cloth with silver titles to spine. With the dust-jacket illustrated by Stein. Miss Cond's usual exemplary condition, with some spotting to edges. Jacket price-clipped and a little rubbed to edges. Near fine. A mystery novel set in the London Underground after-hours. Well-known as a prominent collector of modern firsts, Miss Cond was also a correspondent of Ian Fleming, and the first Secretary to the James Bond Fan Club. During the 1950s, Miss Cond ran an 18th-century royal hunting lodge converted to country house hotel at Deer Park, Honiton, Devon, with a select clientele. Item #59108
