With frequent in-text illustrations. Publisher's pale blue paper covers titled and illustrated in dark blue, stapled twice, and priced at 6d. Presented in a black fleece-lined quarter morocco clamshell box, with raised bands, gilt titles to spine, and blue cloth over sides. Heavy wear to number 238, with old repairs to spine and binding. Much lighter wear to number 239, but with some losses to spine nonetheless. Toning and rubbing to spines of both numbers. Clean and complete internally. Good. The first serial appearance of Thurston's murder-mystery, also including 'Out of School' by Wodehouse, and several chapters from 'The Magic City' by Nesbit. Item #58790
