Contents clean, edges toned. Dust-jacket with tears and chips to head and foot of spine and a little rubbed to rear. Very Good. Best known as one of America's leading playwrights of which The Glass Menagerie (1950), A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) were made into internationally acclaimed films. Tennessee Williams was descended from early settlers of Tennessee stock, and of Nantucket Island, New England and Quakers from his mothers side.
