With frequent in-text engraved illustrations and tables. Contemporary burgundy half morocco with raised bands, gilt titles to spine, and red cloth over boards with a UCL stamp in gilt to upper board. Top edge gilt; dark grey endpapers. University College London prize plate dated 1900-1901 to front pastedown. Very light spotting to edges and preliminaries.
