With a hand coloured frontispiece and a wood engraved title page vignette. Contemporary brown full calf with raised bands and gilt titles to black label, and further gilt decoration to spine. All edges and endpapers marbled. Two separate black ink ownership inscriptions to flyleaf. A 2cm diameter damp patch to flyleaf and frontispiece, causing a small hole to the flyleaf. Quite heavy spotting to preliminaries, and quite heavy external wear. Corners bumped, scratches and marks to boards, and rubbing to outer edges. Good. Item #51871
