London: Faber and Faber, 1937. FIRST EDITION. Octavo (21 x 14cm), pp.331; [1]. Publisher's grey cloth, gilt titles on red square to spine, pictorial dust-jacket. With twenty-eight half tone illustrations and two folding maps. Neat ownership to fly-leaf, some light spotting to preliminaries and to the folding maps at the rear. Price-clipped dust-jacket shows well, small hole to rear fold, spine faded with some loss to the top of the panel, some slight creasing and nicking to the edges.
