With twenty-eight half tone illustrations and two folding maps. Neat ownership to fly-leaf, some light spotting to preliminaries and to the folding maps at the rear. Some spotting to edges, small shallow crease to top edge. Price-clipped dust-jacket shows well, small hole to rear fold, spine faded with some loss to the top of the panel, some slight creasing and nicking to the edges. Scarce with no other copy in wrapper found at the time of cataloguing. Very good. Hamilton records the building of the eponymous strategic road built through Kurdistan in the 1930s. Item #50586
