Armorial bookplates of the Kenfield branch (Kent) of the Thomson family to front pastedown of each volume. Folding county map to vol. I bound in following the subscribers' list, rather than facing the title page as per the plate list. Plate showing the Larkfield Hundred, vol. II, trimmed at lower fold. Ightham plate, vol. II, facing p.248 not p.250 as per plate list. Small damp patch to lower edge of vol. II. The North view of St Augustine's Abbey faces p.659, rather than p.660, as per plate list.
