Bound in publisher's light brown cloth blocked in colour, all edges coloured deep red, large title to spine and matching red title to front board, with caption 'By the Author of 'Elizabeth and her German Garden', charming frontispiece of three girls in red coats with tissue guard. Boards in very good condition, showing some dustiness and marks (especially to rear), endcaps slightly pushed, endpapers browned although very clean and bright throughout text block, all corners bumped, title to spine remains relatively vivid, colourfully illustrated throughout, includes many classic nursery rhymes. Overall, a very good copy. Item #44196
