Printed on fine handmade paper, with a photogravure frontispiece portrait of the author with tissue-guard, and a decorated title page printed in red. Publisher's cream buckram boards, titled and heavily decorated in gilt to spine and upper. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Internally crisp and clean, with some toning to endpapers. Ex Henry Sotheran, with their label to front pastedown. Spine quite heavily toned. Very good. A charmingly-written piece of religious argument on the equality of the Trinity. Item #35374
