In contemporary maroon half morocco by the Eagle Art Bindery, with raised bands, gilt titles to spine and marbled paper over boards. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed; marbled endpapers. Text block toned and a little brittle. Spine toned; light rubbing to binding, with some very gentle re-colouring to joints and corners. Very good. A very thorough treatment of the subject by the enormously prolific English social historian, curiously unknown today. Item #57150
