We have moved premises to the first floor of the renowned Hall's Bookshop, established in Tunbridge Wells c. 1898.

Having been part of the London book trade for some forty years this is an exciting time for us as we enter the previously uncharted waters of the provincial bookseller. Whilst we are pleased to have successfully transfered our business to a beautiful and historic new location, refurbished over the summer and autumn of 2014, it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to two of our long-standing London staff, Pierre Lombardini and Jonathan Kearns. We wish them every future success and customers and colleagues alike will no doubt bump into them at many a forthcoming book fair or auction.

Adrian, Jon and Karin hold the Kentish fort, ably assisted by Lucas Boulding, who ran Hall's Bookshop for the last two years under its previous owners, and may already be familiar to many of you. After Hall's temporary closure for a refit Lucas commuted to work at our previous location in Kensington, as well as manning our stands at the London Summer Fairs and attending the inaugural York Rare Book School in September 2014.

We also now have two new members of staff - Benedict Wilson and James Murray.

Many thanks to all our customers, old and new. We are open for business, and look forward to showing you around our striking new Tunbridge Wells Book Room.
