With a complimentary facsimile wrapper supplied by a previous owner. A collection of twelve short stories, mostly tales of fate and the supernatural, published by Odhams rather than her usual publisher Collins, who produced their own version a little later. The book is notable for including the first appearance of Christie's legendary story 'The Witness for the Prosecution' which the author subsequently adapted for the stage, and which was the basis for two classic movies.
