Designed to look like a genuine dossier of evidence, clues, letters and notes relating to a murder investigation, bound together in an oversized manila-type card folder secured with red ribbon. Appears to be complete, though the sealed portion at rear has been opened, as often. Covers a little browned, unsupported edges worn/crumpled. A file containing all the necessary paperwork for readers to solve the crime. This is the fourth and final murder mystery planned by J G Links and written by Wheatley, in the same style as 'Murder off Miami', 'Who Killed Robert Prentice' and 'The Malinsay Massacre'. Instead of employing models to pose for the photographs of the victims/suspects, Wheatley roped in co-operative friends including Sir Malcolm Campbell, Peter Cheyney and Val Gielgud. Item #76076
