"Outside of a dog, man's best friend is a book. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."
— Groucho Marx

No place. 3rd April 1986. Original storyboard sheets titled Pre-titles Sequence (Land Rover chase). 6 sheets, A3 paper, loose, with printed titles, noted 'Revised 23.5.86'. 108 numbered scenes, illustrated and captioned, covering the dramatic pre-credit sequence where the double-O agents' exercise in Gibraltar is sabotaged and Bond pursues the murderer as he attempts to escape 'The Rock' in a military Land Rover. After a cliff-top plunge, Bond parascends onto a nearby yacht with a glamorous but bored female sunbather... Slight creasing, a little handling as expected, near fine. These are original production-used storyboard sheets for the 1987 James Bond movie. It is curious to see that 'The Living Daylights' as printed here was still only a tentative title for the film.
