A near fine copy of the book, in a lightly used wrapper with a few minor nicks and tears, one old tape mark to reverse side. Shows well. A Hercule Poirot mystery, published as 'Funerals are Fatal' in America. Basis for the 1963 film 'Murder at the Gallop', although Miss Marple replaced Poirot as the sleuth for the big screen. Published 18 May 1953. This it the first edition in book form; an abridged serialisation appeared in John Bull Magazine, 21 March - 2 May 1953. Item #62302
