A neat black ink ownership to half-title. Repair to split rear hinge. Moderate spotting throughout, occasionally quite heavy. Toning and spotting to edges. Spine rubbed and toned, with some minor marks to boards. Very good. The author's best-known novel, exploring the nature of Courage against the backdrop of the 1881-1899 Mahdist War. Item #62197
