SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR to flyleaf and warmly inscribed to John Booth on behalf of Elizabeth Trotter Jr (Betty Trotter). Slight lean, minor wear to cloth, spine toned. Very good. The American novelist and dramatist Booth Tarkington was a multi-Pulitzer Prize winner. Elizabeth Trotter was the author's literary assistant, researcher, contributor to The Atlantic magazine in the 1920s, and the dedicatee of Tarkington's Wanton Mally (1932). Item #61972
