Publisher's burgundy cloth, with black titles to spine and upper, and blue pictorial endpapers. With original dust-jacket illustrated in colour by Soper, priced at 7/6. Light spotting to edges, otherwise crisp and clean internally. Jacket rubbed and chipped to edges, with a larger loss to head of spine. A bright, attractive copy. Very good. The first of the perennially popular 'Famous Five' series, first published in 1942. Item #61949
