Quarto (26 x cm), pp.xvi; 316; 25 card leaves, two with illustrated title pages for the New and Old Testaments, two blank the rest with four illustrations per page. Publisher's tan buckram, blocked in black and gilt to spine and upper, patterned endpapers, top edge gilt others untrimmed. Blue paper backed cloth dust-jacket repeating the binding design in black. Internally fine. Cloth lightly scuffed and darkened to extremities with a small dent to the top of the rear board, some marking to boards. Wrapper a little darkened to spine, lightly rubbed to edges. Very good. A study of Hieroglyphic Bibles followed by an example of the the New and Old Testaments. Item #61644
