Small oblong (11 x 14cm) with gilt trim, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Featuring the signatures of four British Prime Ministers; Stanley Baldwin (and Countess Baldwin), Neville Chamberlain, Sir Winston Churchill (a particularly fine example, dated), and Sir Anthony Eden. Together with signatures of other dignitaries, writers, poets, sports persons and actors of the period, including John Buchan, Fred Perry, Joan Crawford (autograph letter), Duchess of Atholl, Wingate of Sudan and Ishbel Macdonald, daughter of first Labour Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald. A fine collection in fine condition. A fine association copy; the Scottish Buccleugh duchy (pronounced 'buck-lurr') are direct ancestors of the Montagus of Beaulieu, founders of the National Motor Musuem. Item #61410
