Loss to lower edge of title page due to a production fault, otherwise a crisp, clean copy internally. Moderate wear and some bumping to binding; joints remain firm. A lovely copy in an attractive contemporary binding. Very good. Profiles of each of the principal states of Europe in the mid seventeenth century, stating their advantages and disadvantages in the ongoing struggle for world-domination.
