Internally bright and clean, slight lean to the textblock, edges rather toned. Cloth rubbed to extremities, small ding to top edge of the upper board, some fraying and chipping to spine ends. Very good. Lewis' first non-fiction title, his important study of the use of the allegory of love during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Item #61377
