A lovely clean copy internally, slight lean to the textblock, edges a little toned. Boards slightly bowed. Cloth very lightly handled to extremities but bright and unfaded. An excellent copy lacking the wrapper. Near fine. A poetic memoir by Danish Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke, which describes European settlers and the local tribesmen in the bush country of Kenya, British East Africa, during 1914–1931. It is also the basis for Sydney Pollack's 1985 Oscar-winning movie starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Listed in National Geographic's 100 Greatest Adventure books. Item #61342
