"If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all. "
— Oscar Wilde

London: Odhams Press Limited, 1933. [Crime fiction] FINELY BOUND FIRST EDITION. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.247; [1]. Elegantly bound in half red calf over cloth sides, spine ruled in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in gilt. Light spotting to edges, contents clean, exterior as new. A near fine copy in an attractive recent leather binding. A collection of twelve short stories, mostly tales of fate and the supernatural, published by Odhams rather than her usual publisher Collins, who produced their own version a little later.
