Finely bound by the Baker Bindery, Anniston, Alabama in green full morocco, with gilt titles and decoration to spine, green patterned paste-paper endpapers, generous turn-ins with gilt decoration, and all edges gilt. Original cloth spine and upper bound in at rear. Internally bright and clean, cloth bound in at the rear toned and worn. A fine copy in a handsome leather binding. Hercule Poirot is a passenger on board a flight from Paris to Croydon. Some time before landing, one of the passengers, a moneylender named Madame Giselle, is found dead. Initially, a reaction to a wasp sting is postulated, but Poirot spies the true cause of death: a poison-tipped dart, apparently fired from a blowpipe.
